Mohd Jafar

Mohd Jafar was born in Patna, Bihar on 31st December 1951. He obtained B.Sc. degree from the Patna Science College, a premier institution of the state.

He has held the position of the Vice President of leading NGOs Human Welfare Trust, Human Welfare Foundation and Dawat Trust, carrying out humanitarian and welfare programs across the country. He has also chaired the Society For Bright Future, a national level disaster management and relief society. 

Presently, Maulana Jafar is serving in various trusts and societies in different capacities such as he is a member of the governing council and general body of the Board of Islamic publications (BIP), which publishes English periodical ‘Radiance views-weekly. He is the Chairman of the Managing committee of Alshifa multi speciality hospital in New Delhi. He is a founder trustee of Indian Centre for Islamic Finance (ICIF) and Islamic Academy Trust. He is also a trustee of the Ishaat Islam Trust.
